John Gioffre

John’s natural curiosity and talent for forming connections have guided his journey. He started by studying political science as an undergraduate and playing as a defensive lineman at Rice University. Later, he attended law school at South Texas College of Law Houston, where he discovered his true passion for real estate.

In Houston, John established GO Investments, a real estate investment firm focused on purchasing distressed properties and restoring them for rental or sale. Through this venture, he gained valuable experience in general contracting and built an impressive portfolio of single-family homes. Recently, the company has expanded its holdings to include multifamily assets.

Inspired by his work, John ventured into house flipping and took on custom projects for clients. In collaboration with Andrew and AJ, he successfully completed his first high-end renovation in 2013 and hasn’t looked back since.

In 2015, an opportunity arose for John to become the CEO of a real estate development company in Austin. This role exposed him to a wide range of construction projects throughout the city. While learning about the intricacies of the City of Austin’s building codes and processes, John forged relationships with experts and craftsmen like Antonio and Pedro, ultimately forming his own team. Thus, Revent was established.

Since its inception, Revent Builds has successfully executed numerous projects, spanning the entire spectrum of construction and renovation. The company has grown into a multimillion-dollar enterprise, and John finds immense fulfillment in his work, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to pursue his passion every day.
