W Mary Bathroom | Bouldin Creek
This is a 1920’s urban farmhouse restoration in Austin, Texas, that was undertaken in stages. The restoration started with improving curb appeal by laying artificial turf and adding new custom metal fencing. Parking was moved to the rear alley with an automatic steel drive gate. There was sheetrock covering century old shiplap, which was removed to create a farmhouse feel. Special attention was paid to repurpose and not damage original woodwork. The kitchen was reconfigured to create openness. In the kitchen, custom quartzite countertops were installed. Revival Construction performed a complete demo of the master bathroom and moved plumbing (it’s really not as scary as you think) to allow for best layout. Added a custom walk-in shower with 5 shower heads and a custom shower pan sloped to a linear floor drain. All design choices were made by Revent Remodeling and Construction.
